Since 1985, the Grand Street BID has been dedicated to revitalizing the local economy in East Williamsburg through maintaining clean streets and sidewalks, promoting retail services, and capital improvement projects by collaborating with local non profit ogranizations and elected officials.
By providing daily basic services that includes street sweeping and communication with city agencies the BID serves as the conductor of the local economic engine along our six-block business corridor on Grand Street between Bushwick and Union Avenues. Subsequently, the relationships that have evolved comprise an extensive network of nonprofits, government officials, and agencies throughout the area.
The BID's functional expertise and paramount commitment to the enhancement of the business corridor have combined to produce results that have generated excellent scores of our cleaning program from New York City. Additionally, the daily supervision of the catchment area and our promotional activities have tandem to secure positive growth |
